Why is i.Concept different?
i.Concept represents the 100% integration between the Smartphone or Tablet, the App and the motor. This means that when a training App (exercise program) is used, resistance variations showed in the App will be automatically changed in the machine. That is, if the workout program shows an increase or decrease in the resistance, the motor receives the information and increases/decreases resistance automatically.
In addition, with i.Concept by BH, the smartphone or tablet has a dual function.
First, it acts as the console for installing exercise programs (Apps). These programs can be regularly downloaded and updated with new versions. Many options are available: training with
"classic" programs (valleys, resistance, etc); recreating legendary contests (biking up the Alpe d'Huez, running the New York marathon, etc), etc.
Secondly, the Apps can run in "background" mode. In other words, the user accesses the exercise program, sets the parameters and starts the workout. At this point, the menu key can be pressed to
access the rest of the smartphone or tablet applications, such as online browsing, watching videos or TV, checking e-mails, downloading new Apps, phoning, etc. So that the user can enjoy all the
features of the device whilst the program carries on running in background, maintaining settings initially established and saving the data for the current workout. The user can go back to the
program at any time, to check progress or reset the exercise parameters.
